CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was arraigned in court in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old woman in a domestic violence incident on West Street in Chicopee. On November 26th, officers were called to West Street for a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found a man in a bedroom suffering from a neck laceration. During a sweep of the home, the body of a 21-year-old woman was found. Woman found dead after domestic violence incident on West Street in Chicopee The Hampden District Attorney’s Spokesperson, Elijah Ayers told 22News that Guerby Marcelin was arraigned on Monday in Chicopee District Court in connection to the homicide. He pleaded not guilty and is being held without the right to bail. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for January 16th.
