Panera, Raising Cane’s open new locations in Riverside

Two fast food chains are opening their third locations in the city of Riverside.
Their celebrations will give early risers the chance to get freebies two days in a row.
Panera Bread will be opening at 505 E. Alessandro Blvd. on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The restaurant is near Chili’s Grill & Bar and does not face the street.
Beginning at 6 a.m., the first 100 guests will receive a year’s worth of free You Pick Two meals, according to a news release.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will open at Van Buren Boulevard and Jackson Street the following day. The celebration starts at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19.
The chain will take entries for its “Lucky 20” drawing from 7 to 8 a.m. Twenty winners will get free food for year.
Santa Claus will visit for photos beginning at 2 p.m.
