PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police (RISP) announced three arrests in a months-long investigation into a narcotics trafficking conspiracy Tuesday. Tyrone Wilcox, 47, of North Providence, Christian Frederick, 41, of Pawtucket and Rocco Tetreault, 39, of Lincoln were taken into custody Monday on a bevy of narcotics and illegal firearms charges. The RISP High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA) executed search warrants in Providence, North Providence, Lincoln and Pawtucket, leading to the seizure of multiple illegal firearms and narcotics. HIDTA was assisted by members of the Pawtucket Police Narcotics Unit. Among the seized weapons were two fully assembled ghost assault rifles, four fully assembled ghost semi-automatic pistols, two semi-automatic pistols, two revolvers, ten ghost assault rifle lower receivers, seven ghost pistol frames, thousands of rounds of ammunition and 22 extended magazines. Also seized were hundreds of grams of fentanyl, cocaine, ketamine, Adderall and marijuana. The narcotics seizure also yielded a kilogram narcotics press, narcotics distribution materials, a money counter and over $10,000 in cash. The three suspects were all arraigned and held at the ACI Intake Center before their arraignments Tuesday morning in 6th Division District Court. Categories: News, Pawtucket, Providence
