Disclaimer: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. WESTWEGO, La. (WGNO) — A Westwego man has been arrested in connection with a child pornography investigation on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Louisiana Office of the Attorney General reported that 37-year-old Robert Paul Maynard was arrested after agents got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Robert Paul Maynard (Courtesy: Louisiana Office of the Attorney General) The attorney general's office reported that General Murril's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation worked on the case with Homeland Security Investigations, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and the Westwego Police Department. Maynard faces 88 counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13. The investigation is ongoing.
