$22,000 worth of cocaine seized in the mail, Wisconsin man arrested on multiple drug charges

REEDSBURG, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials in Wisconsin arrested a 28-year-old man on drug possession charges after finding over 1,000 grams of cocaine in the mail.
According to the Reedsburg Police Department, two search warrants were executed at houses on South Aire Drive and Silver Drive in Reedsburg. The search warrants were obtained due to the seizure of a 1,074-gram package of cocaine by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The street value is reportedly around $22,0000. The package came from Puerto Rico, according to the release. The Postal Inspection Service delivered the package, which was brought inside by an unrelated female.
A man who showed up hours later went inside and was arrested as he was trying to leave while in possession of the package. 28-year-old Jaoshua A. Vargas-Sanchez of Reedsburg was the man arrested, and was charged with the following:
Possession with intent to deliver cocaine greater than 40 grams
Possession with intent to deliver cocaine 1-5 gams
Maintaining a drug trafficking place
Possession of drug paraphernalia
