Officials give update on Wisconsin bar stabbing, victim identified as 31yearold man

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) - Wisconsin officials have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred on Saturday evening at a bar, which is currently under investigation.
The original report came in after 6 p.m. reporting that a man was stabbed at the Do-Dodge-Inn in Eau Claire. Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim, identified as 31-year-old Alex Graff of Medford, Wisconsin.
No injuries reported after bank robbery in Wisconsin, investigation underway
Graff was reportedly in town visiting a friend. Video surveillance and statements from witnesses said that the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Anthony Jackson, a homeless man in Eau Claire, approached Graff and his friend, stabbing him multiple times.
The attack at this time is being considered unprovoked. Jackson also attempted to stab Graff's friend. Graff died of his injuries after being transported to a hospital.
Jackson was arrested on scene, and had an initial court date set for Tuesday morning, with the Eau Claire County District Attorney's office formally charging him with the following:
1st Degree Intentional Homicide with a Dangerous Weapon
Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with a Dangerous Weapon
Felony Bail Jumping (x2)

Detectives are currently looking for more witnesses. Anybody who was in the bar and hasn't spoken with law enforcement is asked to contact investigators.
