Firefighters battle house fire near Algoma for over three hours, cause under investigaton

KEWAUNEE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - A fire north of Algoma on Monday afternoon caused heavy damage to a house on Cedar Drive.
Algoma Fire Department says that it got a call around 3:30 p.m. that reported the fire. According to an official, the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.

The firefighters battled the fire for more than three hours, with support coming from multiple other fire departments. The assisting departments were from Kewaunee, Casco, Luxemburg, Southern Door and Nasewaupee.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown, but currently under investigation.
