Governor Tony Evers orders flags to halfstaff in honor of victims of Madison school shooting

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order No. 248 on Tuesday morning that ordered U.S. and state flags to be flown at half-staff.
The order comes in honor of the victims from Monday's shooting at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison. Gov. Evers released a statement as well regarding the shooting.

"There are no words to describe the devastation and heartbreak we feel today after the school shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison this morning," Gov. Evers' statement said.
Evers added that he's focusing on supporting the families and the school community.
“Today my focus is on supporting these families and kids and the Abundant Life community," Gov. Evers' statement said. "The state stands ready to support them and the efforts of local law enforcement through what will undoubtedly be difficult days ahead.”
