Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy is becoming a familiar face to the small businesses of Baltimore between The Barstool Fund donation drive he set up to financially support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic and now his most recent visit to give out One Bite pizza reviews.Portnoy is a native of Boston where he started Barstool Sports, but relocated to New York City with his company in 2016. While in New York, which is known as a mecca for pizza, he decided to review a different pizza place every day. During his One Bite pizza reviews, Portnoy always says “one bite, everyone knows the rules,” although he always famously eats more than one bite and rates the pizza.Every review is rated with a decimal, and he often debates whether a pizza is worthy of a 7.9 or 8.1, as anything over 8 he considers to be in elite company.
