Grand opening of casino resort 40 miles from Greensboro

DANVILLE, Va. (WGHP) — Caesars Virginia is finally opening its doors on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The lavish resort and casino is located around 40 miles north of Greensboro in Danville, Virginia.

It features nearly 1,500 slot machines, 80 table games and 21 high-stakes poker tables alongside several dining options, including the first Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Virginia. It also boasts a Caesars-branded hotel and a 50,000-square-foot meeting and convention center that doubles as an entertainment venue.
“I think they’ve blown it away with the design of this place. Until you’ve seen it in person, it’s hard to grasp just how breathtaking it is,” General Manager of Ceasars Virginia Chris Albrecht said.
Weekday one-night rates at the hotel start at $299.
