Four in Wisconsin arrested after stolen sawmill worth thousands is recovered

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - Four people from southwestern Wisconsin were arrested after officials recovered a stolen sawmill with a value at several thousand dollars.
According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, the arrests were made in a coordinated effort with neighboring agencies. On Dec. 7, the Crawford County Sheriff's Office was tipped off about a reported theft involving a sawmill from a property in the Township of Haney in Crawford County.

Officials worked with the Richland and Grant County Sheriff's Offices to investigate the report and identify the possible suspects. The investigation resulted in a search warrant for a property on Rusty Lane in Blue River, located in Richland County
The search warrant was executed by all three Sheriff's Offices on Dec. 15. The search warrant resulted in the recovery of the stolen sawmill as well as the arrest of multiple people at the scene.
The following individuals were arrested with charges referred to the Crawford and Richland County District Attorney's Offices:
62-year-old Rusty Jones
28-year-old Riley Jenson
30-year-old Brandon Mohr
28-year-old Elizabeth Gehler

All four are from Blue River, with their pending charges including felony theft, bail jumping, possession of stolen property and party to a crime.
The investigation is still underway. No more details were provided.
