GRAFTON, Wis. (WFRV)—A person was evacuated after a garage fire in an eastern Wisconsin home was knocked down before it spread to the inside. According to a release from the Village of Grafton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to a fire report at 1st Ave. and West Maple. Heavy smoke was seen from multiple blocks in the distance. The firefighters on the scene were able to vanquish the flames before it spread to the home's interior. The garage and a car were destroyed, but the home was saved from any additional significant damage.
