Fatal hit-and-run on Pontchartrain Expressway under investigation "Dense fog rolled in unexpectedly causing several crashes on both bridges. My responding officers were rear-ended, and we are just now trying to assess the damage, we know there are injured folks but we don't know the extent of their injuries and we don't know how many people were injured. We are now trying to get people off the bridge safely," said Dufrechou. This is a developing story. Stay with WGNO as more information becomes available.
