CALCASIEU PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A 13-year-old boy was arrested this morning after allegedly threatening to shoot up a middle school, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. The boy, who was not identified by authorities, faces one count of terrorizing-menacing. In a news release, the sheriff's office said deputies went to Oak Park Middle School around 10:30 a.m. in response to a reported threat. "During the investigation, it was learned a 13-year-old made a threat to bring a gun to school and shoot up the school.  During further investigation, the boy confirmed he made the threat," the sheriff's office said in the news release.
