Soggy conditions will rapidly end on Tuesday morning as a "cold front" dries everything out. It will be a cold front in name only, as temperatures will keep rising overnight and throughout the day on Tuesday. With sunny skies by Tuesday afternoon, it will turn into a beautiful day as temperatures reach the lower 60s. This will be the warmest we'll be for some time, so there is even more reason to soak it up. The next storm system will quickly arrive on Wednesday, increasing cloud cover in the morning before sweeping steady rain across the region in the afternoon. Rounds of steady rain will continue through the evening commute and into the night, but much like the previous system, a strong cold front will sweep through Wednesday night and quickly dry things out on Thursday morning. It will be breezy on Thursday as much colder air starts to arrive for the end of the week. High temperatures will only hit the 40s, with some sunshine around to keep us from getting too cold. Yet another disturbance, a clipper system, will arrive on Friday. This clipper will produce snow showers across the higher terrain while the rest of us catch a break and stay dry. However, that will be the only break we get, as much colder air will fill in for the first day of winter and beyond as we head toward the holidays. High temperatures on Saturday and Sunday won't get out of the 20s and 30s, and overnight, it will be even colder, with single digits not out of the question to the west in the higher terrain. 7-Day Forecast: Tonight: Cloudy and foggy with scattered rain.
