Marcy, N.Y. — Officials on Monday identified the inmate who died last week after the “use of force” by staff members in a Utica-area state prison.The inmate is Robert L. Brooks, 43, according to Thomas Mailey, a spokesperson for the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
