AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Cedar Park Police Department is investigating a deadly crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The agency said on social media around 7:15 p.m. the crash happened at Royal Lane and Lonestar Drive. A KXAN photojournalist near the scene said a small section of Royal Lane between West Whitestone Boulevard and Lone Star Drive was closed due to the crash. CPPD said its Highway Enforcement Unit was conducting an investigation. No other details were released Monday.
