PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was arrested in Porterville for allegedly having a revolver and various drugs while being a convicted felon, the city's police department announced Monday. Police say on Dec. 13 at 10:19 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Prospect Street. According to police, the driver was identified as 51-year-old Darryll Kedrowski of Strathmore. It was determined he had a suspended driver's license and he was subsequently arrested. Officers say they went on to find a loaded revolver inside his vehicle along with approximately 1/2 ounce of methamphetamine, acid tabs and narcotic paraphernalia. Police say further evidence was found that the methamphetamine that was possessed was with the intent to distribute. According to police, Kedrowski was discovered to be a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms. He was also determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Kedrowski was later booked into the Tulare County Sheriff's Department South County Detention Facility where he is being held on a $75,000 bail, according to police.
