Suspect arrested in connection with stabbing two people in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - On Wednesday night December 11th, there was a report of two Pittsfield residents being stabbed on Harvard Street around midnight.
The Pittsfield Police Department arrived at the victims' residence to find a man and a woman with multiple stab wounds. Both received care at Berkshire Medical Center and are expected to recover.

Thursday, Pittsfield Police arrested and charged 32-year-old Jacob Frusciente, who is believed to have known both victims. Frusciente was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court for one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury. He is being held on $50,000 cash bail pending a mental health evaluation.
