PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - On Wednesday night December 11th, there was a report of two Pittsfield residents being stabbed on Harvard Street around midnight. The Pittsfield Police Department arrived at the victims' residence to find a man and a woman with multiple stab wounds. Both received care at Berkshire Medical Center and are expected to recover. Two pedestrians struck by vehicle near Riverdale Shops in West Springfield Thursday, Pittsfield Police arrested and charged 32-year-old Jacob Frusciente, who is believed to have known both victims. Frusciente was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court for one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury. He is being held on $50,000 cash bail pending a mental health evaluation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Pittsfield Police Dept.
