WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Ahead of Christmas, Dante Club in West Springfield held its last craft show of the season on Sunday morning.
Vendors set up their booths at the social club, assisting customers in finding last-minute gifts. There were a variety of handmade items offered, ranging from food to sewing equipment, drawings, and even gifts for teachers.

One vendor explained to 22News how events like this benefit business owners just as much as they help customers.
"These are small businesses, and these are people that work hard in their homes and their own little shows to put together something that is handmade and different than what you can get at the big box stores," expressed Katherine Kraver, a Vendor at the event. "So, I think it is important to shop small and shop local."
Kraver said these craft shows become a small community on its own with familiar faces at every event.
