On Sunday, Dec. 15, at 6:13 p.m., someone contacted the Police Department with information about a dog that was “running up and down the street” in the area of Monitor Drive and Lucky John Drive. It did not have a collar and appeared to be disoriented, the police were told. It resembled a “wolf dog” with black and white fur, the person told the police.A police officer at 4:05 p.m. indicated they would assist a driver with a mattress on eastbound U.S. 40. Public police logs did not provide details about the circumstances, but the case involved a traffic stop.On Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5:56 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and 7th Street after, the police said, observing the vehicle had stopped in a location where it blocked a crosswalk. A truck reportedly broke down on Marsac Avenue and was at the location for approximately four hours prior to a 1:04 p.m. report to the police. The department was told snowplows could not pass. The police said the truck created a traffic hazard.On Friday, Dec. 13, at 10:41 p.m., a vehicle was seen in a drop-and-load zone on Main Street without a current permit. The driver moved the vehicle and indicated they would take steps to renew a permit, the police said.Someone contacted the police at 10:25 p.m. asking to lodge an anonymous complaint about noise somewhere along Park Avenue. Public police logs did not provide details about the noise that spurred the report. The police classified the case as suspected disturbing the peace.The police at 4:10 p.m. received a report of a mailbox that was “broken” on Head Court at 4:10 p.m. The person was not able to close the mailbox door, the police were told. The department indicated the circumstances of the case were suspicious.A party, described as “loud,” was reported on Park Avenue at 9:38 p.m. The gathering was on Woodside Avenue, the police were told. The police were told someone was sleeping in the driver’s seat. The department described the circumstances as suspicious.A truck was reported to be blocking part of Aerie Drive in the area of the Deer Valley Drive intersection at 3:03 p.m. The Park City Building Department requested a police officer to respond to the scene to direct traffic.On Tuesday. Dec. 10, at 3:09 p.m., someone reported their car had been hit while they were skiing. The case was reported on Deer Valley Drive, apparently at a lodging property. Staffers told the person to file a police report.Someone contacted the police at 1:31 p.m. reporting a diamond engagement ring and a wedding band were lost while the person was at a hotel on Deer Valley Drive. The jewelry might have been misplaced three days prior to the police report.A worker reportedly discovered unspecified drug paraphernalia at the Old Town transit center at 12:51 a.m.On Monday, Dec. 9, at 3:51 p.m., the police received a complaint about two vehicles with the engines running and radios playing for an hour in a parking lot on Snow Creek Drive.
