This performance was not only a special performance for hospital patients but also the VCU staff. One of the hospital's pediatric medicine physicians, Dr. Ashlie Tyseng, played violin in the ensemble. “I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and to be a part of the community of team members here at CHoR that works together to take care of our patients and families when they need it most," Tyseng said. "It was so special to be able to share the joy of music with our patients and families, and also with the team members who are so passionate in caring for children every day. Being able to link two important parts of my life, music and medicine, was so much fun!”
