Southeast Wisconsin weather: Light snow chances ahead
Dec 16, 2024
**A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM FOR MILWAUKEE, RACINE, KENOSHA, WALWORTH, WAUKESHA, JEFFERSON AND DODGE COUNTIES** A few sprinkles are possible this evening. Increased winds should prevent thick fog from developing again tonight. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with lows around 30 degrees in Milwaukee and 20s elsewhere. Tomorrow looks pretty nice with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures near 40 degrees.A series of weaker systems bring multiple light snow chances this week. The first system will develop over the Great Lakes Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. Less than 1" of snow is possible for us here in southeast Wisconsin. An Alberta Clipper brings an even better chance for snow during the day Thursday. Finally, a second Alberta Clipper may bring more snow Saturday morning. This all adds up to the chance of having a few inches of snow on the ground by the weekend.
