MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man is in custody after an individual was killed after a two-vehicle collision in East Memphis, Memphis Police said. At 12:54 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision at Poplar Ave and Cherry Circle. MPD investigating southwest Memphis double homicide An unidentified individual was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. The individual later succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have detained a man but said that this is still an ongoing investigation.
