(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a person who had been hit by a car on Saturday, Dec. 14. At around 10:31 p.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to 1200 E. Woodmen Road off I-25, regarding a person lying on the ground. According to CSPD, the person had been hit by a car and sustained serious life-threatening injuries. The car was no longer on the scene and left before officers arrived. Due to the nature of the crash, the Major Crash Team was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
