Lake Norman Lighted Christmas Boat Parade to be held on December 21st

LAKE NORMAN — The Sixth Annual Lake Norman Lighted Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 5:30pm.
Thousands of people have enjoyed this event in recent years. The parade is open to the public.
The starting point of the parade is Blythe Landing.
2nd stop: Ramsey Creek Park
3rd stop: Peninsula Yacht Club
Final stop: Duke Energy Explorium (where Santa and food trucks will be available)
Volunteers will also be collecting unwrapped toys at all locations. Little Smiles will collect all the toys for children in local hospitals dealing with cancer treatments. Cash and online donations will also be accepted.
This year’s Master of Ceremonies will be Amy Stein from Market Hero to kick the parade off!
Organizers are still accepting Captain’s to be in the parade and Volunteers to help collect toys. Last year there were 31 boats in the parade.
