BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A boil and conserve water notice is still in place for Warsaw residents. Residents in the Wyoming County town and village were alerted of the notice following a water main break early Saturday morning. It is possible that harmful microbes could have entered the water due to the loss of pressure. Residents were advised to boil their water for at least one minute before using. Boiled or bottled water should be used for all activities including brushing teeth and preparing food. Repairs were made to the 12-inch water transmission main overnight Sunday and further work is still being done. Small, isolated areas have experienced total water loss. Residents should follow the notices for the time being, the village said.
