BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A Lake Isabella woman who authorities say was under the influence of alcohol and methamphetamine was driving 30 mph over the speed limit when she crashed, fatally injuring another driver, according to court documents.
Danielle Alinna Debski, 24, is charged with five felonies — including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated -- in a Sept. 5, 2022, crash that occurred in southwest Bakersfield. She’s free on $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled next month.
According to California Highway Patrol reports, Debski's vehicle was traveling north on Stine Road at 75.8 mph when it crashed into a vehicle that entered the roadway from a private parking lot near Pacheco Road.

Debski would have been able to stop if she'd been traveling the posted speed limit of 45 mph, officers said.
The other vehicle's driver, identified in a wrongful death lawsuit as Jesus Medina, suffered multiple brain bleeds and heart and neck injuries, the reports say. He was transported to a hospital in Fresno, where he died Sept. 23, 2022.
Debski’s blood-alcohol content was 0.13% and she tested positive for meth, according to the documents. She also tested positive for Oxycodone, which she said she'd been prescribed after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
Debski told investigators she sometimes drinks and drives, but denied drinking that day, according to the reports. A can of alcoholic iced tea was found in her vehicle, the reports say.
