(KRON) — A preliminary 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck the North Bay Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 1.7 miles east southeast of Deer Park and 15 miles east northeast of Santa Rosa. The tremblor occurred at 8:51 a.m., USGS said. The quake comes as the North Bay is facing the latest round of rain Monday morning.
