BOSTON (WPRI) — Two men are expected to face a judge on Monday after allegedly flying a drone too close to Boston Logan International Airport over the weekend.
Jeremy Folcik, 32, of Bridgewater and Robert Duffy, 42, of Charlestown are facing charges of trespassing, with additional fines or charges potentially coming, police added.
Around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, an officer reported seeing a drone operating "dangerously close" to the airport.
Police were able to track the three suspects using the drone's location, altitude and flight history.

Folcik and Duffy were arrested on one of the Boston Harbor Islands, but police say they believe the third suspect got away on a small boat.
Airplane pilots say many people don't realize the threat these drones pose to planes taking off and landing. Even the smallest drone can cause catastrophic damage, they added.
These arrests come after weeks of drone sighting in New Jersey sparking concerns over who sent them and why. Federal agents say the sightings don't appear to be a threat to public safety.
