All area veterans and active duty military members will receive free admission and will be recognized during halftime of two upcoming Pierre Governors high school basketball games.
This Friday’s (Dec. 20, 2024) girls game will be the first “Salute to Veterans” event. Hughes/Stanley/Sully County Veteran Service Officer Mike Mullen says, additionally, anyone attending the game is invited to bring non-perishable food donations that will be given to Pierre Area Referral Service (PARS).
