SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A Yankton man - charged with 2nd degree murder - made his first court appearance Monday morning.  29-year-old woman dies after falling from train in downtown Sioux Falls According to court documents, 19-year-old Theodore Kranig Jr. is accused of stabbing a man and slitting his throat. Police say Kranig was drinking at the man's apartment on Friday night. On Saturday, Yankton police said they were investigating a "suspicious death." The affidavit says Kranig told police the man assaulted him first, so he grabbed a knife and hurt him. Court documents do not reveal the victim's age, or his relationship with Kranig.
