Quadruple shooting in Milneburg neighborhood left two dead, two wounded

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a double homicide in the Milneburg neighborhood.
Officers said around 7:11 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, they responded to a shooting at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Madrid Street.
Upon arrival, officers reported finding multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Man shot, killed in the Seventh Ward
A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead on the scene. A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were both taken to a hospital by car where one died from his injuries.
A fourth victim was taken to a hospital by EMS for treatment.
No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
Crews respond to partial building collapse in Central Business District
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will release the victim's identities after autopsies are done and the families are notified.
