NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a double homicide in the Milneburg neighborhood. Officers said around 7:11 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, they responded to a shooting at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Madrid Street. Upon arrival, officers reported finding multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Man shot, killed in the Seventh Ward A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead on the scene. A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were both taken to a hospital by car where one died from his injuries. A fourth victim was taken to a hospital by EMS for treatment. No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
