Temporary statewide outage reported for Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles system

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officials with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicle announced they are experiencing an outage of the state's system.
In a post to Facebook, officials said the system is temporarily down and that they are unable to process driver's license, vehicle registration and reinstatement transactions.

"We appreciate your patience as our vendor works to restore service. Updates will be posted here as soon as the system is operational again."
Currently, there is no estimated time of restoration.
