Dan Friedman is the managing partner and tells KFOR News you can request a free ride home between 9pm and 2am each night. He says they have been offering this service during the holiday season for over 30 years in Lincoln that his business partner and father, Herb Friedman, started. “This was an opportunity to give back to the community and let folks know that our firm is interested in keeping people safe and trying to curb the tide of drunken and impaired driving,” Dan Friedman said. If you have had too much to drink, you can arrange a ride home by calling 402-474-SAFE (7233), request the “Let Friedman Drive program” when calling Z-Trip for a cab.  You can also use the promo code “FREERIDE” on the Z-Trip app. This service only applies to rides with residential destinations inside Lincoln’s city limits and available only to licensed drivers.
