KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man hopes the person responsible for hitting several parked cars in a residential parking lot, near 84th Street Terrace and Drury Circle in KCMO earlier this month, will come forward.
A week has passed since the incident, and no one has stepped up to claim responsibility.

The Washburn University Law School student and father to a young child is now without any mode of transportation.
"It was 2:30 in the morning. I just looked at it and was like what can I do?,” Amos Cooley said referring to seeing his damaged cars.
Cooley said there wasn't much he could do, other than document what he saw, pick up what he could, and file a police report.
He says he does have insurance on the vehicles, one with just liability coverage though, but his cars are now sitting still waiting on estimates to see what repairs can be made, if any.
“I got my daughter, tried to figure out and put her back to sleep. Just dealt with it the next day,” Cooley shared.
He says it all started with a phone call from a neighbor in the overnight hours of December 7th.
"I got a phone call telling me to come outside from a neighbor. They said something happened to my vehicles,” he shared.
He had two cars parked, both were hit and are undrivable. It consisted of his primary car and a back-up.
“I woke up and came out here and found my vehicles destroyed,” he said. "I believe one hit my Malibu and sped through it and it turned it and as it turned, it hit my other car,” he said. “…and they just drove through it.”
He shared video of the collision, along with photos of his damaged cars, with FOX4.
You can still see remnants of Cooley’s Chevy and Cadillac that were once parked in the residential parking lot.
Cooley is a father and a Law School student.
"...down at Washburn University. It was during finals week, so it kind of made it really hard to get to school. I got down there to stay the week and came back yesterday."
"If they did it once, they will do it again. This time somebody could be in the car or hurt… that's my biggest concern,” Cooley added.
He says he had a kidney transplant last year and transportation is needed for appointments even now, as well as to pick up medication.
"Get it over with. It's an unfortunate thing, but once you get it started, we can get past it."

Cooley believes the car that hit his vehicles is orange in color and possibly a Jeep Renegade.
