Chiefs DB Trent McDuffie used scoreboard to get first career interception

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It was a special day for Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Trent McDuffie, who got his first career interception against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
It was the unconventional way McDuffie got the interception that makes his milestone more impressive.
The three year pro used the jumbotron at Huntington Bank Field to intercept Jameis Winston in the endzone.

"Right place, right time," McDuffie said. "During the play I was in man-to-man and funny thing is, for whatever reason, I somehow glanced up at the jumbotron cause it was a scramble drill and just saw him launch it and I was like 'That's to my side, so let me just turn around,' and caught the ball."
Despite McDuffie's lack of interceptions in his career, he has been one of the game's best young corners in his first three seasons. He was named First-team All-Pro last season.
It was an all around great performance from the Chiefs defense, who held the Browns to seven points and forced six turnovers.
The Chiefs defeated the Browns 21-7 and now sit at 13-1, controlling their own destiny for the first seed in the AFC. They host the Houston Texans on Saturday.
