CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A suspect is still being sought out from a bank robbery Friday in Clayton, a town official said.
A man walked into Wells Fargo on Executive Drive around 4:59 p.m. Friday and told employees he had a weapon, threatened to shoot everyone and demanded money from each teller, according to the town official.
Photos provided by the town official show the suspect covering his face and carrying a blue tote bag — which, according to the town official, was where he put the money. The town official said the man was inside the bank for less than 4 minutes before leaving and before police arrived.
Officers said they began a large search for the suspect in the surrounding area but did not find him.

He was also carrying a small black tablet with a Bluetooth-type earpiece in his right ear.
The town official said if anyone has information regarding the identity of this person to contact the Clayton Police Department at (919) 553-4611 or the crime tip line at (919) 553-1555.
