(WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested for his fourth Operating While Intoxicated offense Sunday night after he led police on a 9-mile pursuit inside an allegedly stolen vehicle. Wisconsin car thieves steal vehicle from gas station, abandon 2-year-old on side of road According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region Fond du Lac Post, troopers received an "Attempt to Locate" from the Wood County Sheriff's Office for 38-year-old Joshua M. Fuller from Vesper as he was believed to have stolen a vehicle and may have also stolen several firearms. Officials say that a driving complaint was called in at 11:20 p.m. on a vehicle matching the description of the Toyota sedan believed to be stolen by Fuller. At 11:40 p.m., a trooper initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle on I-41 and County Highway G in Winnebago County leading to a 9-mile pursuit as the vehicle sped off and showed poor driving behavior. A Grand Chute police officer was able to later successfully deploy tire deflation devices around I-41 and College Avenue and Fuller was taken into custody without any further incident. Authorities say Fuller showed signs of impairment and, as part of an OWI investigation, he was taken to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw with the results of that blood draw still pending.
