LAKE MURRAY SC (WOLO) – After a career as a federal law enforcement officer, Doug Gaines decided he wanted to show his pride and love of Lake Murray.  He decided that a flag would be the perfect way.  With that in mind, he created the Lake Murray Flag.  Gaines designed the flag very specifically, symbolizing navigation lights, the Dam, and even the river that makes Lake Murray…well a lake.
