LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Detectives say they are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was found dead on the side of the road in Lincolnton. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine if the death is a homicide, according to a news release. Detectives say the teenager’s body was found on the side of Whitehouse Drive in Lincolnton. No other details have been released at this time.
