COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - Authorities in Colleton County executed a search warrant on a home early Monday morning. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office said residents along Cleveland Street and Smith Street could expect a heavy law enforcement presence around 7 a.m. while they assisted the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and Colleton County Animal Control with a warrant. Details were not provided; however, the sheriff's office said there was no threat to the public or nearby Black Street Elementary. Law enforcement has since cleared the area.
