The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, which protects consumers through complaint mediation, and advocacy, and provides ID theft assistance and scam reporting, will share tips to help you avoid falling victim to scammers. The agency will hold a free hour-long webinar on Wednesday showing what you should watch out for including shopping and gift card scams, to seasonal job scams.
