An Englewood business was set on fire after an unsuccessful burglary attempt Sunday night on the South Side. Around 11:50 p.m., two burglars used bolt cutters to break into the business in the 5800 block of South Ashland Avenue, Chicago police said.When they couldn't break into a safe at the business, the burglars used an accelerant to set the building on fire, police said. No injuries were reported and no one was in custody. The police arson unit was investigating.
