Indiana State Police cancel Silver Alert for missing Columbus man

Update (12/16/2024): Indiana State Police have canceled the Silver Alert that was issued for Christian Embree-Cavazos. Neither ISP nor the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office have provided any updates on Embree Cavazos' status.
As 12:07 a.m. Sunday, a reason for the cancellation of the Silver Alert had not been specified.
COLUMBUS, Ind. — Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Bartholomew County man.
According to a press release, 19-year-old Cristian Embree-Cavazos was last seen on Sunday at 10 a.m. He was wearing a dark gray Spiderman hoodie with a red logo on it, khaki pants and black tennis shoes at the time of his disappearance.
Embree-Cavazos is missing out of Columbus, Indiana. Police described him as a 5-foot-11, 190-pound, brown-haired, brown-eyed man.
ISP is encouraging those with information on Embree-Cavazos' whereabouts to contact the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department at (812) 379-1650 or call 911.
