VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A teenager is arrested after crashing her grandparents' car into a home in Visalia Saturday evening. According to the Visalia Police Department, officers responded to a vehicle-vs.-structure crash on South Sowell Street just after 5:40 p.m. on Saturday. Officials say when they arrived on the scene, they discovered that a 14-year-old girl had taken her grandparents' car without their permission. She reportedly was speeding, when she lost control, drove through a resident's yard, and crashed the truck into a house, according to officials. Visalia PD says the teen, who already was on probation for a previous auto theft charge, was arrested for several offenses.
