ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque City Councilors are expected to vote on another ordinance that would work to add more bike lanes in the metro and create a more connected bike lane system downtown. Albuquerque City Council proposes ordinance changes to deal with problem properties "This one will be focused more on, as opposed to being a giant network, it would be more, you know, a prioritized by segments that can get done. You know, everything that 2015 wasn't finished," says City Councilor Joaquin Baca. This comes as Baca called for the commission of a study earlier this year to study pedestrian safety in the area. These bills and more are up for final action.
