BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — Homeowners in North Dakota can now apply for the 2025 Primary Residence Credit, which will allow them to obtain up to $500 against next year’s property tax.
According to a press release from ND Tax, the credit was originally introduced as part of House Bill 1158, and allows all state homeowners to apply. To be eligible for the credit, you can own either a house, mobile home, duplex, townhome, or condo. However, it must be in North Dakota and be your primary residence. There are no other age restrictions or income limits.
