Free ice skating with Springfield Police this month
Dec 15, 2024
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - You still have a chance to ice skate with a Springfield Police officer this holiday season.
The Springfield Police Department will host two more free ice skating sessions at Cyr Arena.
Those will take place next Saturday, December 21st and the 28th. It's all part of the department's 28th annual Stephen O'Brien Memorial 'Learn-to-Skate' program.
Each session runs from 3 to 3:50 p.m. The free session also includes a skate rental. All ages are welcome---however, children must bring a well-fitted helmet and gloves for the ice.
