Happy Sunday! Dense fog has carried over from last night into early today, especially southwest of KC along I-35. Heads up if you're driving to Emporia and beyond first thing today, as the dense fog won't lift until the mid-morning. By midday, the low clouds should fade from south to north, bringing the sunshine back for the second half of the day. Highs are back to the low 50s today, and possibly Monday and Tuesday before the next front. Temperatures will then take a couple of steps back to the 30s by this Saturday, meaning it'll be chilly again for the next Chiefs home game.
